Day 9 Had us leaving Alice Springs heading down the old Ghan Railway stopping at some old railway ruins before going to Chambers Pillar to camp for the evening.
Day 10 - We left the Chambers Pillar and headed to Old Andado Station
Day 11 - We stopped at Mount Dare Roadhouse to get the last fuel before Birdsville and have a few treats, ice cream, soda and sausage rolls. Then we headed to Dalhousie Hot Springs. So amazing 38 degree water and fish that nibble your feet.
Day 12 - Left beautiful Dalhousie Springs and our poor little trailer well things started to go wrong. Some broken things, men's club meeting under the trailer and then setting off again. We drove down the Big Rig Road and some of the French Line as our original plan had to be changed with some wet trails ahead.
Day 13 and 14 - more traveling on the french line until we met up with the QAA Line again that would take us into Birdsville. Some hard dunes to get over. Some last chances to see all the gorgeous wildflowers.
Day 15 - Our last day traveling the QAA line into Birdsville. Stopping on top of Big Red to get a group photo. Amazing trip. If you ever get the chance don't hesitate.
