Someone Else Turned 40 This Year

My husband turned 40 this year too.    We had our dear friends from Cobar come to spend the weekend with us.   It was just a laid back weekend full of adventuring,  eating, drinking and laughing.   So much fun.  

Visiting The Dish in Parkes

With out visitors from Cobar,   we all finally got to go see The Dish.   The radio telescope at Parkes, NSW was used by NASA throughout the Apollo program to receive signals in the Southern Hemisphere.  It started to be used in 1961 and still is one of the world's leading radio telescope. 

Sleepover Visitors

People coming over for a weekend sleepover and visit from Cobar.   So exciting!!!!

Jacaranda Trees in Bloom

This street on the way to school is just gorgeous with the blooming Jacaranda trees.  So made the kids get out and take a photo.

Went to the school to pick up the girls and found this outside the school.   Hmmm some dad must have had to pick up child in between trucking a load of grain??

My New Toy

A 2009 Toyota Hilux.   It has been 12 years since I had my own car  ( my own pickup/ute)    So I am a little bit happy.   To be able to pick my own car and not have to share!!!!

Christmas Shoes

Had the day to myself leaving me to shopping in peace.   So new shoes for the Christmas parties at Eric's work were in order.
