Day 220- Feeding My Soul

I always longed to go sit in a cafe shop.   Write letters or read while have a coffee, a snack.  Maybe one brief time in my life I did this while traveling through Scotland writing post cards and talking to the the locals.    Then kids came and even though we are traveling and living around the world still.  I have lost that inner soul part of myself that would just do this for frivolous sake.   I am starting to reclaim it back.  If you are ever in Forbes stop at http://mezzaninestyle.com/   it is good for the soul.   Christine W.,  I was finishing up your letter......  it will get to you sometime!!!

Day 216 - Slave Driver

***NO CHILDREN WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS PHOTO****

( as you can tell by the smirks on their faces instead of the grimaces that the models were told to do)

It has been 36 days since my dishwasher broke.  Yes 36 days and it is still not fixed.   I am so over the rental agents with their excuses and standard lines.   The kids are calling me slave driver because I am always asking for help to do the dishes.   They have inspired the idea for this photo today.  It has been awhile since I have had all three in a photo hasn't it?

Day 215 - Dirty Windows

I have been looking at this dirty window for weeks.   At 4:30pm the sun shines in and I cringe.   Doesn't help that the kids took window chaulk to their hands and made prints.  Trouble is most of the dirt is outside.  Yeah oh yeah the chores that come with adulthood.
