Crokinole Game

Had to stop unpacking so we could have a game and when the fingers got sore checkers too.    I was remembering many games I have played with grandparents and parents.   Found a letter with tales about Uncle Gib and remembered card games and laughing with cousins.  

Our Stuff!!!!!! - Movers have arrived

Oh my stuff.   It is a mixed bag of excited feelings and dread.   How did we ever get so much crap!

40 Plus Degrees = Poolside

It is gearing up to be a very hot week and weekend.   So I think the pool might get a work out.

Evening Visitors

The Pether's.   Visiting them in Canada in 2012 now visiting them in Australia in 2013.    Awesome.   I can't believe the two boys were just babies when we first got to know the Pether's well,   now look at them.

Waiting is Painful

Three children waiting for me to put away some things in the new kitchen.   Bringing over a few boxes and then unpacking them before they can go for a swim is just so painful....... isn't it. 

Painting

Two of the bedrooms in our new home are already painted a lovely blue but one was pink and well..... Pink isn't popular anymore.   Three years ago yes,  now..... So plain white with green accessories is the plan.  

Sunbathing

I don't approve of sunbathing,  it's bad for you.    I posed the kids like this and you should have heard the complaining..... "Mom it's too hot can we go back to the house? - please are you done yet!!!"

We are moving slowly into our new home.   Our furniture isn't arriving until next week.  We bring some stuff over going for a swim and then repeat.   It has been so nice as the temperature are starting to get up to 40.  

Day 307 - Happy New Year 2013

I am going to continue with the 365 days at 40 but I may try to do it with three kids in ever photo.   We will see how that goes.
