Do you Remember the Beachcombers?

I remember watching the Beachcombers.   A Canadian show.   The longest running one from 1972 to 1990 and it was filmed in Gibons BC.   Where we were exploring today.   Had dinner at Molly's Reach one of the restaurants filmed for the show.   Which is one of the oldest buildings in the area.   It was built around 1903 area.   We had the best ice cream here too.   Lots of fun.

After a long two hour hike we stopped to have a refreshment and refuel.   It was a gorgeous afternoon. 

Rainy Watermelon Day

Sunday was our first bad weather day.   A storm blew in and it was cold and rainy.   So watermelon time it was.

We are just relaxing and enjoying the views.  Exploring the shoreline,  paddleboating,  and picking all the blackberries we can stuff into our pails.    So nice....

Going on our last adventure in British Columbia before we move to Australia.    The Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.

The colours are changing around the house.   Berries on the trees,   apples and plums,   even the leaves.   Could fall be in the air?

Back Home and Cooking

Last day - MacDonald Creek Campground we say Goodbye for Home

Beautiful sand beach.   Perfect spot for breakfast and a little sandcastle building before heading home to Kamloops.  

Day 6 - New Denver, Rosebery, and Evening

Lost of driving today.   Winding roads,  slow going,  ferry crossings,  viewing the water.   Pleasant surprise a gorgeous Mexican Restaurant in Rosebery.   We were all very happy after that meal.   Off on one last 30 minute drive to a campground and marshmallows under the full moon.
