We had to go to Merritt to say goodbye to the truck.    Eric's baby was bought.  

Play Date at Chase Beach

Off to the beach in Chase,  BC with a group of mom's and their sons.   No sisters,  just sand,  water, kites,  and play ground.  

Cookie Monsters

Ciara has been a baking machine.   We have a new batch of cookies each day.   Yummy,  but maybe not great for my belly!!!

Something about Black Eyed Susan's

This flower always leaves me contented when I see them.   I remember hunting for them back the lane and bush at my parents farm when I was a kid.  I'd find them and then add Queen's Anne's Lace or Wild Carrots to the boutique and then take it home to the table.   

Prickly Pear Cactus

I have been spotting so many of these cactus this year.   Wonder if this is just a good year for them.

Outdoor Dinning at Mission Hill Winery

Vernon waterslide followed by a trip to Kelowna to get some things on our list that we have been meaning to get and couldn't get in Kamloops.   Hungry people and Mission Hills Winery being the closest eating establishment,   well why not.   Though I am not always a fan of trying posh dinning with three kids.   Grilled cheese on fancy bread doesn't always go down well.   They did ok.

Road Trip to Vernon

We have had on our list to hit the VernonWaterslide Park since day one of our summer holidays.   Finally got a day to go.   Packed up the car and off we headed.  Road Trip!!!
