Tie-dyed!!! How could I not! Found this at a used store in the fall.
Kids wouldn’t be caught dead with me. So I only wear it for bed. Reminds
me of a pair of rainbow snow boots my dad had when I was a teenager.

Finding herbs that wintered over well. Cleaning up and thankful I have
this big back yard in the GTA to social distance myself to. I'd be
calmer if it was my family farm with 100 acres and no one around. But
this is the next best thing. Plus in a few days I can put out hammocks
and badminton net and there is more places for the teenagers to go.

Yesterday husband left for work away for a time frame that keeps
changing. We talk of supporting our medical teams by social distancing
but we forget about the families of people that have to work to supply
electricity, internet, food supply, police, fire and other basic needs.
On top of that the people that provide the materials and parts to keep
those basic needs running if they break down. Families/people that are all at home this is your job to do at 110%. So the families that can’t , can breathe just a little easier as we send them out to be exposed daily. So they in turn don’t overwhelm our medical teams.

After winter comes the summer. After night comes the dawn. After every storm, there comes clear, open skies.

This selfie project could turn into a photo journal as well. I bought
this t shirt at a used store to wear on my birthday. That was 17 days
ago. I forgot to wear it. I was asked how I felt about turning 48 and well I
usually don't have issues with birth date numbers until it adds a 1 to
it. Like 31, 41 etc. So I have been fine. I had read a friends post
about being at an age where you realize you don't have much time left so
do what makes you happy. So my goals for 2020 were to get out and explore. Be a tourist is my own backyard.
Take photos of myself while adventuring. Enjoy the world and life around me.
Now 17 days later with coronavirus constantly in the news. 48 means
something different. It means older parents that are at risk ages which
scares me. When can I touch them again? Then myself
at the middle age group, we have the most cases. I'm
questioning 48 now.

Quick trip to Kingston, Ontario to pack up university child who's school is closed. This mumma bear is happy that the university child is coming home. University child is gutted to be ending first year this way.

- Sometimes we have to stop and breathe in some positive. Telling
someone you saw snowdrops today can change the conversations for a few
moments. Maybe we can sit in our backyards with a good book when the
schools are closed and soak up the spring vibes.
