Now that this house is ours..... that we aren't renting any more.  We can change things that have been bugging us.  My top change was this bedroom.  I don't have a before photo for you.   It had a very dark brown wall (right behind me in this photo) in a room with only one window facing the North.    For this Canadian girl when Canadian winters sometimes are long and dark I just hated it.  Not to mention I felt like I was back in the early 90's.   So off white walls and I am one happy girl.   The difference is huge and for my husband who couldn't image it and questioned me a lot.  He now agrees it was a great idea.

A little tribute to my heritage.  These Scottish Thistles made it to Australia to.  Nothing kills them.   My maiden name is Cowbrough.   Looking up my heritage we were under the tartan of Galbraith.   So I am frolicking in my ancient Galbraith Tartan in Australia with Scottish Thistles!!!
