Day 181 - Rainy and Cool Time for Pizza

Arrived at Bribie Island Saturday evening.  Set up the tent and then the rain began.   So time to visit with our friends the Brown's and then dinner out at the best pizza place in town.

Stopped for meat pies and sausage rolls on our first leg of our trip up to Queensland.

Just a little stroll before the clouds got dark and then rain began.

Day 173 - Laundry Helpers

Had a lot of laundry to get through before there was a threat of rain.  Got it all accomplished with a little help. 

Day 172 - Athletics Carnival AKA: Track and Field Day

These guys ran and jumping like crazy kids.  We don't find out how they did till Monday.  So I will keep you posted.    Ciara is team Captain for one of the four colour teams that the school has.   That is why she is all painted up so you can notice her.

Inner Ninja with David Myles has been playing a lot around here.  So we were inspired to do this photo. 

Day 167 - Wood Fire Pizza

Our first go at the wood fire outside at our house.   Eric said 8 hours of heating up this thing for exactly 2 minutes of cooking for each pizza!!  They were lovely though. 

Day 166 - Box Car Racing

This has been a project for a week.   We almost had it all together last weekend but we were missing another set of wheels.   Daddy finally found some at the hardware shop this morning.   Yeah.   Though I think a motor might be the next step.  The pushing on the flat driveway loses it's fun.  If we still had the Kamloops home well that would be another story!!! (we may have had to have a road block put up)

Day 165 - Albumn Cover or Up on My Wall

I think I might have to get this printed.   I really like it. 

Day 164 - Masquerade Ball

We had found these masks in the shops months ago and have been slowly finding dresses and such to go with them at the used shops.   Now to make the vision.

Day 162 - All Ready Wishing....

All ready wishing for the weekend.   The three day weekend got in their blood and they so wish they could not go to school for the rest of the week.  Doesn't help that it has been cold and raining for almost a week and everyone just wants to curl up in the blankets and read.

I miss my house in Kamloops sometimes.   Lots of light so that when a quick dance off is happening with daddy.  I could get a fairly good photo.   I'm going to have to start looking for a house with more light.
