Day 90 - Easter Morning 2013
Pouring rain this Sunday morning, so the hunt was conducted in seconds. The stash of candy then was brought inside and split because it was just grab as fast as you can and therefore not equal in the least!!! The faces well ...... while waiting for sleep to come last night they decided they would decorate themselves for the Easter Bunny to see. I am so glad that we have two more days until school starts because even though it says washable I don't think it is coming off their skin easily. Why do my kids like body art? Is this a sign that tattoo's are going to be asked for??

Day 88 - Forbes Camel Races
This Easter Weekend is the 10th annual Camel Races in Forbes NSW. We have never seen a camel race even when we were here in Australia before. So to have one only 20 minutes away. Well sign us up. These babies can move. I was rather shocked at a speed of a camel. Good fun.

Day 87 - Easter Hat Parade at School
Didn't get a photo of them all at the parade. Only stage one gets to make a hat and walk in the parade. The girls are in stage two and three. So they helped Owen make his hat but had to just watch. We went over to the Happy Easter sign outside the kiddie room and got this photo instead. Now off school for four days!!!

Day 78 - School View
This is the front of Parkes East School. The main office and staff room are the building to the left of the kids and behind Hannah is her classroom. In the distance the building by the tree is Owen's class room and Ciara's is behind the main office building. I'll try a back view some other time.

Day 72 - New Table
It's not the super long table I have dreamed about forever. But it reminds me of my parents table. Doesn't the legs look similar mom? So for only $120 dollars I have a new table and 6 new covers for the chairs and we can sit down again for a meal.

Day 69 - Sunday Morning Wake Up
A very late night after a great dinner party has everyone moving on slow mode. The kids normally do this all bundle up together on the couch while they wake up. It may not happen for much longer or maybe it will?? But for now I think it is nice to watch the sleepy waking up faces that sit together without fighting.

Day 66 - Cemetary
The first time I saw a cemetary in outback Australia I was rather shocked. They aren't very welcoming in compared to Canadian ones. Not many trees or grass to stay and visit for a while.

Day 65 - Cooke Park, Parkes NSW
This is the largest public park in Parkes. The Elvis festival tents get put up here. Shows and workout lessons take place here. It is the first thing that you see when you drive into town from Orange NSW and then head down town.

Day 64 - Manicures
We went to the Body Express Salon as a reward for a month of no picking or biting nails. Don't want them to have my habit. They got their long nails shaped and treated so that no breaking will happen and hopefully keep them motivated to continue. I am happy I can come and get a facial with the produces I like. It's like the Elora one mom!!!! Lots of hints now to my husband.

Ice Cream Truck - Day 62
You know how you see American movies of the ice cream trucks playing music and traveling around the streets selling. Well we heard the truck and music and couldn't believe it. The kids raced down the road with money in hand and got to buy an ice cream cone. It was pretty good if I do say so myself since I got to have the leftovers.
