Your personality

I took one of those free online personality test because when I read this title for a photo a day I couldn't figure out what my personality was.    After doing the test I apparently am a "Nurturer"    The photo;  I struggled  to come up with a photo imagine of a nurturer.     kindness?  mothering?  can't say no?   avoid conflict?   rich inner world?  need positive feedback or get discouraged?   hate criticism?  rely on to get job done?  hide feelings?    This photo a day screams being creative.    

A Number

2009 - A number I am looking at a lot today as I am printing out 2009 photos for Saturday's all day crop.   I'm half way through 2009.   6 more months and  I'll be caught up with all my scrapbooking!!!

The Weather Today

Started off quite cool but warmed up with lovely blue puffy cloud skies.

Something Sweet

The watermelon around here has been very sweet lately.

12 O'clock

Italian Sausage Bean Soup which turns to stew the next day.   Pearl barley keeps cooking if you don't take it off after the allotted time!!!   This was my lunch at 12 o'clock today. 
Very yummy for the adults.    Kids turned up their noses.   Which is disappointing.   All their favourite things separated where in here together.  Sausage,  carrots,   barley,  and beans.   And there was only onions and garlic as spice!!!!   Two more times a charm?? 

Unusual

Crazy Hair Day was last week at school.   Didn't have anything unusual happen today.   Unless you call having two cold beers after school with a friend in the lovely 25 degree weather on the deck unusual.   (we were too busy chatting to think about a photo)  

Something New

Our weekend adventure was new for us.  Holidaying,  exploring,  teaching and working.       Started off at Quesnel with the annual 4WD long weekend adventure that we have been doing for 3 years now.  Then to Barkerville for some education of BC.   Check out:    www.barkerville.ca   to get all the history on this very unique and historic part of BC.    A little other items thrown in there that I can't get into yet.   A good exploration of a new area we are living in.  

Technology

I have finally gotten one of these things.   And yes it isn't the latest and greatest.   Come on I forget it in the car half the time.  The reason it is there is just in case I get in trouble out and about on the farms and ranches.    I still don't know how to work it and the girls think it is horrible because I don't have games on it.    I'll wait some more they be teaching me soon enough.  Or we can learn together.

The pink blossoms all around the place right now.  Are so amazing.

A Favourite Place

A favourite place is back home in Ontario.   Granted it doesn't have to be winter.   But this is the only shot I have right now.  

Something you made

I ripped on scraps of my scrapbooking paper.   Mog Poged it and then added other bits.   Just need to add some more paper to it.   My home made book beside the bed for things that I think about just before going to sleep.   Things I need to remember to do.  Ideas of photos and places I need to go to.   Just decluttering the brain before bed. 

Snack

Have been snacking on these lately.   Yes I am not on a healthy kick at the moment.

Kitchen

My kitchen this morning before getting off to school.    There is nothing on the counter tops now.   But.....   that's not how it is 80% of the time.   So here's the messy version. 

A Favourite Word

Lately a favourite word for my has been playdate.   Whether we are hosting or one of the lovely mom's attached to the boy above does it.   It means I get some time to get some things done.   Because they all play together well so if they are together we can get things done.  Or if we are free we can run to the shops and do some grocery shopping in piece.   Ah Playdate!!!

Something you do everyday

Okay don't want to here it!  My guilty pleasure that is bad for me.   I can't help it but I have a coke everyday.  

A smell you adore

The smell of my kids neck when they still smell like babies.   I know it is soon coming to an end.    Owen's neck will start to take on a different smell soon.   Not that sweet baby smell.   So I will suck up as much of this smell for as long as I have left.

Someone That Inspires You

Someone's.....   my family.   Inspires me with the past,  who I became because of some of these people.

Hannah had a Tae Kwon Do tournament in Kelowna this past weekend.   She got bronze and silver in her two events.    Then we decided to spend the night in Kelowna and test out the new camper tent.   It was a great relaxing evening and Sunday.   We so needed it after all the running around we have been doing.    Nice warm sunny weekend.

Well I actually wore it under my pants.    Damn rugby knee injury in Cobar.    Getting worse and requires some extra support to jump fences when I'm out and about.

I had hoped to go downtown to take a photo of Kamloops the city.   Well time got  away from me.   So instead here is the skyline view from the top of my hill in Barnhartvale.
